Wisconsin Is Hiring Early-Career Public Health Graduates for a Two-Year Paid Fellowship 2027

Not every fellowship on this site is open to applicants from abroad and this one is a good example. Before you spend an evening on it, check one line: you must be legally authorized to work in the United States and the program does not sponsor visas.

What You Actually Do

This is a job with training built in, not a classroom program.

Fellows are placed in community, nonprofit, government, or health-service organizations in Wisconsin. There they work on some of the state’s most pressing public health problems. Alongside the placement, the program teaches systems thinking, collaborative leadership, and ways to strengthen public health practice.

Over two years, fellows are meant to see a wide range of settings and topics. The goal is to build well-rounded practitioners rather than narrow specialists.
