Climate change is reshaping disease risks ecosystems food systems and community health across Southeast Asia. The SEAOHUN 2026 ASEAN One Health Climate Fellowship gives early to mid career professionals a practical way to work on these challenges inside leading organisations.
Organised by the Southeast Asia One Health University Network the program places selected fellows full time and on site with host institutions for about four months. The focus is clear strengthen regional capacity to address climate related health threats through cross sector collaboration.

What the Fellowship Aims to Achieve
The programme is built around six connected goals:
- Strengthen the regional One Health workforce
- Build practical skills on climate-related health threats
- Encourage collaboration across human, animal and environmental health sectors
- Promote cooperation between ASEAN countries
- Generate actionable knowledge that can inform national and regional policy
- Help fellows expand professional networks that last beyond the placement

Who Can Apply

There is no stated race or ethnicity requirement. Eligibility rests on citizenship, age, background, skills and suitability for the chosen placement.

- FAO offices in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR and the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific

- Government animal health and disease control units
- One Health coordinating bodies and veterinary faculties
